Financial markets survey 23.11.2020

The previous week started with growth on global stock markets thanks to positive news about the effectiveness of the coronavirus vaccines. On Monday, 16 November, the leading stock indices – the S&P 500 Index and the Dow Jones Index – set their new historical record-highs and reached 3,626.91 points and 29,950.44 points respectively. However, already on Tuesday, 17 November, the record-fast spread of the coronavirus urged investors to sell out assets.
