During the previous week, global financial markets demonstrated an abrupt change in moods: On Wednesday, 02 September, key stock indices – the S&P500 Index and the Nasdaq Composite – reached historical record-highs (3,580.84 and 12,420.54 respectively). However, on Thursday, 03 September, they fell recoed0low due to the exhaustion of investment demand and the closure of “short” positions. Shares of hi0tech companies are among outsiders. Even positive data from the US labor market did not have much impact on investors’ moods, although the pace of this drop slowed down somewhat.
