At the end of the previous week, trading on the American stock market faced increased volatility, reflecting worldwide nervousness on financial markets. The World Health Organization’s decision to hold off with calling the Chinese coronavirus an epidemic resulted in weaker fears and the financial market recovery. Nevertheless, the uncertainty around this situation is forcing investors to demonstrate caution with risk assets and to give preference to protective instruments.
