The previous week took a rather ambiguous format for the US market. On Monday, 21 January, the US celebrated the Martin Luther King Jr. Day. From Tuesday through Thursday, the American stock market was registering an adjustment. On Friday, 25 January, stock indices demonstrated growth following stocks of hi-tech companies thanks to a strong season of corporate financial statements.
