Last week, global stock markets continued sinking. One more point of instability – Honk Kong – emerged on the world map. Hong Kong is witnessing mass protests in the city center regarding changes to the political system that are proposed by the Government of the People’s Republic China.

Economic indicators of the euro-area do not show any serious signs that the situation is improving. The Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for the industrial sector of the eighteen euro-area countries fell to 50.3 points in September 2014, which is a record-low since July 2013.
