Last week, markets finally received a reply regarding the plans of the US Federal Reserve System (FRS) for further amounts of repurchasing securities. Based on the results of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting, Chairman of the FRS Board of Governors Ben Bernanke stated on Wednesday, 19 June, that curtailment of the FRS’s incentive programs may start later this year.
