"Teplokrovni" heads to Volyn for the first time: the mobile donor hub continues to unite people around blood donation

In October, the "Teplokrovni" mobile blood donation hub—launched through an initiative by FUIB and Mastercard—will visit the Volyn region for the first time. Blood donations at the hub will be possible on October 13 in Kamin-Kashyrskyi, October 15 in Ratne, and October 16 in Lutsk.

The project makes donating blood more accessible by enabling people to participate in their own cities. The need for donor blood is constant, so "Teplokrovni" travels to locations where it is difficult for people to reach blood centers.

Results of the "Teplokrovni" Hub

During its nationwide tour, the mobile donor hub has already visited 45 locations.

A total of 4,835 people have participated, donating 2,176 liters of blood. This blood has the potential to save over 14,000 lives, as a single donation (450 ml) can help three people.

Now, the Volyn region is joining the nationwide route, with the tour continuing next in the Lviv and Rivne regions.

How does the "Teplokrovni" hub work?

"Teplokrovni"is a 13-meter double-decker bus that combines an educational space with a fully functional blood donation hub.

The ground floor features an interactive exhibition about blood, donation, and its role in saving lives. It is open to everyone without prior registration.

The upper floor is a fully equipped space for blood donations. A professional medical team from the Volyn Regional Blood Service Center will staff the hub, ensuring a safe and comfortable donation process.

Who created "Teplokrovni"?

The project was founded by FUIB and Mastercard in partnership with the NGOs DonorUA and "Blood Agents".

The project’s fuel partner, UKRNAFTA, supports the hub’s tours across Ukraine’s regions, helping to make blood donation more accessible in various parts of the country.
