First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) in partnership with Mastercard gives their clients the opportunity to make contactless payments for purchases with Mi Smart Band 6 NFC – a new version of the popular fitness tracker with the contactless function. The payment functionality is a joint development of Xiaomi and Mastercard global technology companies and is available exclusively to the holders of Mastercard cards.

Mi Smart Band 6 NFC is a new representative of Xiaomi's most popular line of wearable devices with an emphasis on contactless payments. The new version of the tracker supports NFC technology, which makes it a fast, secure, and convenient way to make payments.

“Contactless payments with gadgets, including wearable devices, are fast and secure: when you make a payment, all your card data is encrypted, which provides the maximum level of transaction protection. Holders of FUIB cards are already accustomed to this level of convenience and comfort, so we continue to work on expanding the list of payment instruments for our bank's customers. How to enable payments by a Mastercard card with the help of Mi Smart Band 6 NFC?

●       Install the Xiaomi Wear (Android) or Xiaomi Wear Lite (iOS) mobile app, log in using your Mi Account (or create a new one) and select the "Ukraine" region

●       In the "Devices" tab, select "Mi Smart Band 6 Fitness Tracker" and activate it.

●       Set a PIN.

●       Go to the "Xiaomi Pay" tab, fill in your Mastercard card details, and confirm authorization via an SMS to complete activation.

How to make payments with the help of Mi Smart Band 6 NFC?

• Activate the tracker by tapping the screen.
• Go to the cards section by simply swiping to the left from the main screen.
• Tap on the arrow to activate your payment card. Enter a PIN, if required.
• To make a payment, simply hold the tracker near a payment terminal.
• After activation, the card will be active for 60 seconds or until payment is made.

Mi Smart Band 6 NFC has a 1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED display, which shows images with a pixel density of 326 ppi. The device offers a total of 30 different types of training, including automatic detection for the 6 most popular types. Mi Smart Band 6 NFC, like the previous model, has a number of health monitoring functions, namely SpO2 measuring for the purpose of monitoring the condition of users' respiratory system, advanced sleep monitoring functions, stress level calculation, and breathing exercises, so that users can take their overall physical and mental health under control.
