Without paper documents: Diia at FUIB

 The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) continues to implement innovative services to ensure maximum comfort for clients when receiving bank services.
From September 2021, FUIB client services are provided using the e-passport of a citizen of Ukraine or an e-passport for traveling abroad in the Diia mobile application. 

From now on, FUIB clients can simply show an e-passport in the Diia application and share a digital copy of an identification document during banking operations in the bank's branches. 

To obtain copies of digital documents, a branch employee uses a smartphone to read the barcode of the document in Diia. The client only needs to confirm the Data Transfer request in Diia application. After confirming the request and receiving copies of digital documents, the necessary banking transaction is carried out. It is fast, secure and without any paper documents or their copies.

 

"From August 23, the law on digital passports in Diia came into force. For FUIB, the priority is compliance with the law and the comfort of our clients. Integration with Diia makes the process of obtaining banking services more convenient for FUIB cardholders as the possibility to share copies of digital documents and to verify their validity in a few clicks reduces waiting time and increases the level of service and comfort for bank clients in branches"said Dmytro Dudnyk, Head of FUIB's Retail Business Department.

Activation of document sharing service in FUIB branches will help to expand the functionality of the bank's services. All banking services except lending will be available to clients who identify themselves through the Diia application.

In the near future, FUIB plans to expand the functionality and the list of services that will be available to customers through the Diia application.  

Currently, the Diia application is also integrated with the FUIB Online mobile application. The bank's client can already open and activate the debit virtual card vseKARTA in the FUIB Online application using the Diia application.
