The first Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) was awarded in five nominations in the annual FinAwards 2021.

About 30 banks and their representatives – top managers, retail and marketing executives – competed in 25 nominations.

Thus, Serhiy Chernenko, the Chairman of the FUIB's Board, was elected Banker of the Year, and the vseKARTA won gold in the Best Debit Card category.

"I am very pleased to receive such an acknowledgement because it is a mix of expert and client opinions. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the support of employees and customers has been the focus of our work. Together we managed not only to go through the difficult year of 2020, but also to achieve significant results. Our clients have resumed their activity, and we have greatly increased sales. Additionally, together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, we supported medical workers in the fight against COVID-19. We were one of the record holders who raised funds and transferred them to the hospital. This gave a great charge of energy and additional motivation to our employees. They saw that we were helping society go through a difficult, crisis phase. Our main focus today, where we direct our efforts and developments, is digital products. We are trying to turn from a traditional bank into a product company,” commented Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board.

FUIB was also among the top three in the Best Private Banking category for its banking programs for affluent clients, which include the issuance of premium cards, personal service and Life Style support privileges, the Best Credit Card - vseMOZHU - and the Best Bank for SME Clients for comprehensive banking services for small and medium business clients (including private entrepreneurs).

FinAwards is an annual competition aimed at identifying the best financial companies in implementation of products, advanced technologies and customer services in the Ukrainian market. The selection of applicants for the FinAwards 2021 nominations lasted two months. Banks were evaluated by an expert jury, and open online voting was held on the competition website.

The founders of the award are reputable financial websites - Minfin.com.ua and Finance.ua. The organizer - BankOnline - is one of the leading conference venues in the country in the field of finance and technology.
