The oxygen equipment is vital for the treatment of patients with moderate severity of the disease. 10-liter oxygen concentrator KSOC-5 by Jiangsu Konsung Bio-Medical Science and Technology Co. Ltd. can simultaneously provide two patients who need oxygen support during COVID-19 treatment. This safe to use and energy-saving model of oxygen concentrator will be useful even after the pandemic: it can be used to treat not only respiratory diseases, but also cardiovascular and cerebral vascular systems diseases and hypoxia.
"FUIB continues to help its country in difficult times. We support hospitals in the difficult fight against COVID-19. Together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, the bank transferred 21 oxygen concentrators to 4 hospitals in 3 north-eastern regions. In total, we delivered 140 concentrators to 27 hospitals in different regions of Ukraine. Modern medical equipment will help save multiple lives, and when the pandemic is over will contribute to the effective treatment of various diseases. Every human life is priceless," said Andriy Yevseyev, Deputy Manager of the FUIB Regional Center in Kharkiv.
"Today, we have patients with moderate and severe disease flow in our hospital. Until the COVID recedes, we constantly need a sufficient amount of medicine, equipment, oxygen, protective gear and disinfectants. I am grateful to FUIB and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for 6 powerful oxygen concentrators. They will help us to treat Kharkiv residents with quality,” said Pavlo Nartov, chief physician of the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital.
"In December, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FUIB purchased and transferred oxygen concentrators to 27 hospitals in different regions of the country.
