Ukrposhta today proves that they keep their promises. In April of this year, we signed a finance lease agreement with FUIB on the supply of 500 vehicles for mobile branches. And today we are releasing the final batch of cars, which will be the last one this year. We have a goal to digitalize the entire country, so that one has an opportunity to provide any digital services anywhere. And mobile branches are the most important component of this goal. We hope that every resident of a village will be able to easily and conveniently order medicine, buy household appliances, pay utility bills, and, in the near future, get access to basic banking operations through Ukrposhta," said Ihor Smilyanskyi, General Director of Ukrposhta.

In March-April 2020, Ukrposhta held a tender for the purchase of 500 vehicles for mobile branches. And already in July this year, the company began to receive the first deliveries for the launch of the project in Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia regions.

FUIB is the first commercial bank to support an agreement of such national importance. Its social component is important to us. The contract for the provision of 500 new vehicles, Ukrposhta mobile branches, is a sign of high trust on the part of the state and confirmation of the bank's stability. We have been cooperating with Ukrposhta for many years, see the growth in its efficiency, and consider it to be a reliable partner. Together we can influence sustainable development of the society,” emphasized Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board.

By the end of 2020, about 4 thousand villages and settlements in the aforementioned regions will have access to modern services, and in 2021 the reform will cover the entire territory of the state.

In total, there are more than 27 thousand settlements in Ukraine, whose residents cannot buy medicines or household appliances without going to a district center. They are also cut off from the banking system. But there is a post office in every settlement. The mobile branches project is a proof of the fact that a post office in a village can be modern and accessible, providing the population with all the services they need. Next year, when about 2,500 branches will be on the road, we will say with confidence that every Ukrainian has access to basic services, regardless of whether they live in a city with one million or more residents or in a small village. I am grateful to the Ukrposhta team for the right initiatives and effective work,” emphasized Vladyslav Krykliy, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

We would like to remind you that on April 10, 2020, Ukrposhta signed a finance lease agreement with FUIB for the purchase of 500 Fiat Doblo Maxi cars for mobile branches, worth almost 8.5 million euros. 4 participants took part in the tender for the purchase of vehicles for mobile branches on Prozorro, who offered 3 models of cars. The winner was Fiat Doblo Cargo Maxi with a total price of 16.9 thousand euros, which includes construction, additional equipment, branding, and maintenance for the period of three years. And the price of the “basic” model is 25% lower than its cost in a showroom.
