First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) continues to expand its liability portfolio. Since the beginning of 2021, the portfolio of hryvnia deposits of individuals at FUIB has increased by 33.2% reaching UAH 13.105 billion.

In general, according to the NBU, for the period January-July 2021 FUIB took 1st place in terms of growth of time deposits of individuals in UAH. 

In addition, for the period January-July 2021, the bank ranked 3rd in terms of the growth of the total volume (current accounts and fixed-term deposits) of the retail deposit portfolio in the national currency.

Also, according to official data of the NBU, as of September 1, 2021, FUIB is among the TOP-5 banks of Ukraine among 75 banks operating in the country in terms of the total deposit portfolio of individuals.

More than 85% of deposits are prolonged by clients for a new term.

In the structure of the total deposit portfolio of FUIB's retail clients, the share of hryvnia deposits continues to hold a leading position and is over 60%. The growth of the hryvnia deposit portfolio is due to the reliability of FUIB, which is a bank with a 30-year impeccable deposit reputation, which is confirmed by the unconditional fulfillment of all its obligations. In addition, the choice of clients is influenced by a much higher yield on hryvnia deposit products than on foreign currency deposits. Thus, the rates on hryvnia deposits in FUIB as of today are as follows: up to 10% per annum for Dokhidnyi, up to 8.5% per annum for Nakopychuvalnyi and up to 6% per annum for Vilnyi deposits. Also, FUIB loyalty program (+1% per annum to the interest rate in UAH subject to prolongation of a current deposit, opening a second deposit, if there is a valid one in FUIB, re-placing a deposit and opening a deposit via PUMB Online) applies to hryvnia deposits. The yield on foreign currency deposits does not exceed 0.1% per annum.

In addition, FUIB's clients, by placing a term deposit in the bank, can also take part in the Deposit Bonus Promotion from the Minfin and Finance.ua financial portals and receive an additional 1% of the deposit amount as a bonus from the Minfin.

The structure of the hryvnia deposit portfolio is dominated by Dokhidnyi fixed-term deposit – it accounts for more than 75% of the portfolio. The maximum yield on this deposit is up to 10% per annum in hryvnia. 

FUIB is the largest Ukrainian bank with private capital, which has been operating stably in the banking market of Ukraine for 30 years. The bank conducts internal stress testing in accordance with NBU regulations, the bank received a SREP 2 rating, and the international rating agency Fitch gave the bank the highest rating which is equal to the state rating. Over 1.6 million individuals and 83,000 corporate clients trust the bank. 40 of the TOP-100 largest companies of Ukraine are clients of FUIB.
