A shortened business week was rather quiet on the American markets. After several “negative” sessions, the market demonstrated a moderate growth on Thursday, 22 February, and closed the week with all key indices in the green on Friday, 23 February. The dynamics of the stock market was shaped by three multidirectional trends: the Federal Reserve System (FRS) and its interest rates, US President Donald Trump and its attempts to enhance economic growth, as well as actions of other global central banks.
