For the most part of the previous week, indices of the leading stock platforms across the world quietly stayed flat. News and statistical data that were published in the course of the previous week were not substantial enough to give a new push to grow or to force the market to fall. However, on Friday, 22 November, two leading American indices – S&P 500 and Dow Jones – made a breakthrough and set new historical record-highs. American investors were inspired by assurances of representatives of the US Federal Reserve System that the Government would stick to the incentive policy for years to tome. Data on profits of top companies also did not disappoint.
