In the first half of May, leading trading platforms across the world continued with an upward trend. Over the previous week, the American S&P 500 Index grew 2.1% and set a new historical record-high, while the British FTSE 100 Index grew 1.5% over the previous week, registering 7.7% growth in monthly terms.
