Financial markets, in particular European markets, were rather volatile during the previous week. However, indices of the leading western platforms resumed growth by the end of the previous week. On Thursday, 28 March, Cypriot banks resumed their operation, which made it possible to ease the tension among investors. Nevertheless, it is too early to speak about the elimination of the Cypriot factor, since the final formula of the expected one-time tax on bank deposits in this country has not been voiced yet.
